Neighbourhood

Zandvoort once was a small fishing village. The old, narrow streets just behind our house, called ‘sloppies’, bring back a bit of these old days. You’ll see the littlefisherman’s cottages, an old farm as well as grand white and sand colored villas with their bay windows and names like Land’s End and Zeezicht..

Today Zandvoort is a lively coastal town, with a long-stretched beach, a variety of beach bars & restaurants and a beautiful National park with plenty of deers.

Haarlem and Amsterdam are nearby, respectively 15 and 30 minutes by bus, car or train.
